Card application in education management system can be the DRIVING FORCE.
Several private institutions are utilizing the smart card as tool for
better administration and quick services to the Students.
A multi purpose smart cards as student ID cards can enable the management
to store student’s information and academic details in a database, which
can be accessed through unique Smart Card number or Institute ID number.
The information pertaining to students like unique ID, Name, Address,
Blood Group etc. printed / stored on the card. Optionally Attendance,
Library, Canteen, Fee payments and access control systems can be automated
using the same smart card at various points of institution using smart
card readers. The digitized information can be accessible through intranet
using Internet browser from any computer connected to the central server
with authentication. The same information can also be available in the
website of Institution.
